I've gotten conflicting advice on how to spend my time. Some people say that I should attend as much as I can. I mean, I'm only there for 3 days. Other people say that I shouldn't overdo it and exhaust myself, that I should pick and choose which workshops to attend but save a lot of time for relaxing, hanging out, and chatting with other conference-goers.
Guess I'll see how I feel when I get there.
RWA created this great phone app so we can personalize our schedules. Because it might be marginally interesting to some of you, here are the workshops/events I've tentatively planned to attend. Some overlap, so I'm going to have to make the call when I get down there. But this will give you a smattering idea of what's available (and it's only the very tip of the iceberg!):
Coffee with my indie editor
Meeting with Samhain marketing coordinator
Q&A with Nora Roberts
Writing is Big Business! workshop
Which Track is For You? workshop
Demystifying Metadata workshop
Conquering High Concept workshop
RWA General Membership Meeting

How to Adapt and Thrive (and make Six Figures) workshop

Zero to Six Figures: Making Indie Work for You workshop
The Midlist Guide to Making Six Figures workshop (do you sense a common theme here? LOL)
