RWA just published the list of conference workshops, and I've gotta say, it's overwhelming. Everything from Career to Craft to Industry and pretty much everything in between will be covered. Of course, I'll have to pick and choose, and that's where it will get tricky. I'll need to prioritize (I envision myself with color-coded notes all over my conference schedule by the time I actually get there) and I'll need to keep a close eye on my watch.
Of course, maybe I should just follow the advice one fellow writer gave me, which was to "pick the ones you really want to go to and then just spend the rest of the time hanging out near the bar." Because that, apparently, is where you'll schmooze with all kinds of famous authors and industry people.
Have any of you ever been to RWA's National Conference before? Any words of wisdom or straight-out advice? I'm all ears!
